Great property and accommodating staff from reservation to 'check-out'. Pros/Cons/Recommendations listed below: Pros: Great view, location and pretty good service (locks were changed on the spot because previous guest took the keys with them) Cons: Little pricey, had to wait a little for check-in but that was because locks had to be changed, lack of certain materials that would have been useful to have (a couple extra trash bags, paper towels, etc.), only had one towel per person would have been nice to have maybe 2 Recommendations: 1) Have a few more items on hand like paper towels, trash bags, detergent (had to purchase some for the 3-night stay) 2) Have a checklist for guests upon arrival/check-out to note any imperfections so that they are aware and are not blamed for it after their visit (for instance, remote control didn't have a battery cover when we arrived and there were some paint/scuffs on the floor which were there before we arrived) Overall - loved the stay (have stayed before and plan to stay again)!
I enjoyed my stay at this place. The service people were kind and the place was clean and has a nice NYC view. However, I was billed $54 ($18 per day) for parking after I returned home. I was not aware of this and certainly not informed by the staff there either. Please keep in mind that they now charge parking even if they don't mention that.
I rarely write reviews about these things, but I would just like to commend Dharma Home Suites for handling my recent stay in Jersey City so well. They were very efficient and courteous in dealing with all my questions leading up to the trip. During my stay, we encountered a very minor issue with the apartment we were in and Dharma quickly moved us to their more upscale apartment units. In the end we had a really enjoyable stay at ridiculously affordable prices. Way to go.
Hello, The condo was very nice inside and the view of the Manhattan skyline was very good. The location was superb for getting back and forth to Manhattan on the 14th Street to Midtown Ferry. The kitchen was somewhat well-equipped but lacked a few items: kitchen towels, a baking pan, large bowls and a spatula. We ate breakfast in the condo a few days and found it difficult to make without the bowl, spatula and baking pan. The other items that can use improvement are: 1. The heat is set way too high. We were uncomfortable most of the time because we couldn't lower the heat below 70 degrees. It was especially difficult to sleep at night because of the heat. I suggest you allow the temperature to be lowered to at least 65. Also the beds were very hard...not comfortable at all. The mattress pads were stained and looked like they hadn't every been cleaned. And lastly allowing each person only one washcloth, one hand towel and one bath towel for a 4 night stay was annoying. We had to wash laundry nearly every day to have clean towels. We did luck out and found a parking garage within walking distance who gave us an amazing daily rate of only $10 to that was good. I would stay again if the above items listed were rectified.
Great room with a beautiful view of the city. Conveniently located with a quick access to the Path train. Many restaurants, bars, and a convenient store made the stay very enjoyable. There is a pay parking garage in the building and it was very reasonably priced. Two bedroom unit is clean, modern, and it would be a great place for a family. Definitely will stay here again.
