Exceptional place to stay for business or pleasure in New York or Jersey City. Immaculately clean, well-stocked and well-maintained studio apt. Everything needed for long-term stay. Back side of the building, so very quiet. Large ShopRite grocery store 2 blocks away. Grove St. Path 4 blocks away. Management very responsive. Do bring a robe as the window "shades" are definitely not opaque, and there are other apartment dwellers able to peer in only yards away.
Brilliant - situated at 148 1st Street in the Arts District at Jersey City, the apartment block is close to Grove Street Path Station with easy access to Manhattan. Well equipped, comfortable beds. Would use again.
Absolutely beautiful apartment with amazing views! It was immaculate (most things seemed brand new), quiet building, great furnishings and a short walk to the subway. We stayed here with 3 adults one teenager and 2 kids and we had plenty of space. Loved our stay and would gladly stay here again.
I rarely write reviews about these things, but I would just like to commend Dharma Home Suites for handling my recent stay in Jersey City so well. They were very efficient and courteous in dealing with all my questions leading up to the trip. During my stay, we encountered a very minor issue with the apartment we were in and Dharma quickly moved us to their more upscale apartment units. In the end we had a really enjoyable stay at ridiculously affordable prices. Way to go.
Hello, The condo was very nice inside and the view of the Manhattan skyline was very good. The location was superb for getting back and forth to Manhattan on the 14th Street to Midtown Ferry. The kitchen was somewhat well-equipped but lacked a few items: kitchen towels, a baking pan, large bowls and a spatula. We ate breakfast in the condo a few days and found it difficult to make without the bowl, spatula and baking pan. The other items that can use improvement are: 1. The heat is set way too high. We were uncomfortable most of the time because we couldn't lower the heat below 70 degrees. It was especially difficult to sleep at night because of the heat. I suggest you allow the temperature to be lowered to at least 65. Also the beds were very hard...not comfortable at all. The mattress pads were stained and looked like they hadn't every been cleaned. And lastly allowing each person only one washcloth, one hand towel and one bath towel for a 4 night stay was annoying. We had to wash laundry nearly every day to have clean towels. We did luck out and found a parking garage within walking distance who gave us an amazing daily rate of only $10 to that was good. I would stay again if the above items listed were rectified.
